Decarbonisation

Empowering Sustainability: Our Commitment to Decarbonisation

Decarbonisation

The intensification of extreme weather events affects both ecosystems and human communities, while biodiversity continues to decline. To combat climate change and biodiversity loss, it is essential to take immediate action, accelerating the transition to a sustainable, low-carbon future.
We are dedicated to sustainability efforts and environmental protection, and we are actively involved in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Premier Energy operational emissions

one-finger

Scope 1

Encompasses the direct greenhouse gas emissions that occur from sources owned or under our control.

two-fingers

Scope 2

Includes greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the generation of purchased electricity consumed by owned buildings, as well as electricity grid losses.

three-fingers

Scope 3

Encompasses all additional indirect emissions resulting from Premier Energy's activities but originating from sources not under our ownership or control (value chain emissions).

Our commitments

Mid-term perspective

Our mid-term target is to reduce 50% GHG emissions by 2035, compared to a 2022 baseline. By working to combat climate change we are striving to minimize our environmental footprint.

Long-term perspective

We are committed to achieving operational net-zero status by 2045 compared to the 2022 base year. By striving for net-zero operations, we are taking proactive steps to address climate change and minimize our environmental impact.

Our perspective

Decarbonisation is at our core and reflects our unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability and corporate responsibility. By embracing this commitment, we are advancing on a journey to significantly reduce our carbon emissions and pave the way for a cleaner future.
