Premier Energy Group Structure

Romania gas distribution and supply

In 2013, Premier Energy Group entered the Romanian gas market through different acquisitions, swiftly becoming the 3rd distributor. Engaging in gas distribution, supply, and network maintenance, it serves both households and non-households, also selling gas to industrial customers beyond its concession network.

With 124 natural gas concession areas across Romania, and with a distribution network spanning almost 4,000 km, the majority capable of supporting green hydrogen distribution, the natural gas concessions strategically cover areas around Bucharest and the southern and western regions of Romania, including remote areas with anticipated demand growth. The recently unbundled and rebranded NeoGas Grid business distributed natural gas to over 166.000 customers.

Electricity supply in Romania

In April 2024, the group completed the acquisition of CEZ Vanzare, one of the leading electricity suppliers in Romania, which was subsequently renamed Premier Energy Furnizare. As a result of this transaction, Premier Energy Group became the fourth-largest electricity supplier in Romania, significantly strengthening its local position by adding a portfolio of approximately 1.4 million electricity and natural gas customers. This expansion brought the Group’s total customer base to around 2.3 million energy consumers in Romania and Moldova.
