Premier Energy Romania
In 2013, we took over a small natural gas distribution and supply company and today, we stand as the third-largest natural gas distributor and the fifth-largest supplier in Romania. At the beginning of 2025, Premier Energy Romania separated its natural gas supply and distribution operations to comply with European regulations. Following this unbundling, Premier Energy continued as the natural gas supplier, while NeoGas Grid became the company responsible for gas distribution.
Looking ahead, our ambition is to become one of the most relevant companies in the energy sector.
Premier Energy Furnizare
In April 2024, the group completed the acquisition of CEZ Vanzare, one of the leading electricity suppliers in Romania, which was subsequently renamed Premier Energy Furnizare. This transaction significantly strengthened the group’s position on the local market by adding a portfolio of 1.3 million electricity and natural gas customers.
This reflects our ongoing commitment to growth, long-term value creation, and delivering reliable energy solutions across the region.
NeoGas Grid
Following the separation of natural gas supply and distribution activities, NeoGas Grid has become the new name of the gas distribution company in Romania. Today, NeoGas Grid is the third-largest player on the local natural gas distribution market. With a current expansion rate of approximately 400 km of network per year, the company reaffirms its commitment to developing Romania’s energy infrastructure.
Premier Energy Moldova
In July 2019, Premier Energy Group entered Moldova’s energy market and is the largest distributor and supplier of electricity in Moldova with almost one million consumption points, serving approximately 70% of the Moldovan population.
Alive Capital
Alive Capital, founded in 2013, initially focused on offering integrated management services to renewable energy producers in Romania. Since 2016, the company has been authorized by the National Regulatory Authority for Energy (ANRE) to operate as an energy supplier and trader. It has established itself as a benchmark in the Romanian market for its standards and efficiency in integrated management services. Serving domestic and foreign clients, including multinationals, banks, and institutions, Alive Capital covers various technologies such as wind, solar, hydro, biomass, and biogas. Notably, the company boasts a customer portfolio representing over 16.35% of the total renewable energy sources producers in Romania and around 26.75% of the photovoltaic capacities in the country. As of January 2024, it manages 726.6 MW of installed production units and provides asset management services for 393 MW.
