Petr Stohr, Premier Energy Group’s CFO and Board Member, brings over 25 years of financial management experience. He holds an MBA from both London Business School and Columbia Business School alongside a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and logistics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Petr started his career as an accountant with Arthur Andersen and as an M&A investment banking analyst at Salomon Smith Barney followed by work as an investment associate with Citigroup Private Equity in New York. He eventually became a Vice President with Citigroup Private Equity in the London office where he was a key member of an investment team responsible for managing a global private equity portfolio of over USD 10 billion. In 2010, when Citigroup divested from Citigroup Private Equity, Petr accepted an offer to join the PPF Group in Prague, moving to EMMA Capital as the Director of M&A in 2013 and becoming a partner in 2016. From 2016 to 2020 he held the role of Chief Financial Officer of SAZKA Group (now Allwyn), one of the world’s largest and fastest growing lottery companies, where he was part of a management team that acquired multiple lottery companies and led over €3 billion of financings, including the group’s inaugural €300 million Eurobond indentures, inaugural CZK 6 billion retail bonds traded on the Prague Stock Exchange and numerous multinational bank financings. While Petr has been involved with the Premier Energy Group since 2011, he has been engaged in the day-to-day management of the business since 2020.
